Hi, I am Sweni Prajapati. I am a fifth-year Bachelor of Architecture student at Syracuse University in New York. This website brings together selected work from my time in school and reflects how my thinking, interests, and approach to architecture have developed over the years.

I am originally from Gujarat, India, and studying architecture as an international student has strongly influenced the way I see and design buildings. Spending time abroad in London and Florence pushed this even further, exposing me to different ways of living, building, and thinking about cities. These experiences have made me more aware of culture and identity in design, and I often try to bring aspects of my own background into my projects, whether through spatial ideas, material choices, or overall concepts.

I am especially drawn to projects that move away from conventional solutions. Each studio has been an opportunity for me to experiment with new ideas and challenge myself rather than follow a fixed formula. I see design as an exploratory process, where testing, iteration, and curiosity play an important role in shaping the final outcome.

As I reach the end of my architectural education, I am excited to see where this path leads next. I hope to continue learning from different places and to further explore architecture and design in international contexts. For me, architecture is an ongoing process, one that continues to evolve through experience, travel, and reflection.
